SHAKESPEARE IN THE VINES... Much Ado About Nothing.

FRIDAY 10TH FEBRUARY & SATURDAY 11TH FEBRUARY 2012.

Mark your calendars to join us next February as Essential Theatre transforms Leura Park Estate into a unique and wondrous atmosphere when they perform two shows of the brilliant romantic comedy 'Much Ado About Nothing', on Friday 10th & Saturday 11th February.

Bookings through GPAC on the following link:

For this performance, the scene will be set in the vineyard behind Cellar Door and in an area just that little further away from modern day influences...

Guests will be able to once again enjoy these shows with their favourite Leura Park wines, under the falling of night amongst the vines. At the end of the show, the evening will continue its celebrations with live music and guests will again have the opportunity to discuss the production with the show's actors.

Leura Park - WINNER of the local Entertainment Book's Contemporary Dining Section

Well, we knew we had something special at Leura Park, but it was such a ‘pat on the back’ to know our wonderful patrons thought the same thing!   Leura Park Estate has been announced the 2010/2011 winner of the Geelong, Surf Coast and Ballarat Entertainment Book’s Contemporary Dining section.

2010 was the first time Leura Park had participated in the Entertainment Book and we are very pleased we did.  We feel truly honoured that customers made the effort to go online and vote for us.  It’s seriously gratifying to see that our Cellar Door experience is on the right track - so to everyone who voted for us… a big, big, THANK YOU!!

Major Sponsor for the Celtic Festival Again!

It’s such a brilliant event, we were back on board for the third year in a row!  During the weekend of 10th-13th June, Leura Park will once again be the principal wine sponsor for winter’s hottest event on the Bellarine.

Each year the picturesque little seaside town of Portarlington swells with visitors and with pride as it hosts this country’s biggest annual craic.  The National Celtic Festival is Australia’s largest and most diverse celebration of Celtic music and culture, showcasing a tremendous array of talent from around the world.

The unique cultures of each Celtic nation is celebrated – Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall and the Isle of Man – through world-class music, dance, song, poetry and language, art and craft, even quirky cuisine (haggis burger anyone?!).

It was a great weekend and we were once again proud to be sponsors!
